Cam Janssen Proves to be Nothing but a Stereotype

Looks to me like he's ready.

Sometimes in life, things happen that you don't really want to comment on, but are somewhat forced to. Ignoring the situation is not going to make it go away, and everyone else is going to be discussing it, so you get sucked in. Sort of like Eklund, Justin Bieber, or The Bachelor.

Yesterday, Cam Janssen made several very offensive remarks on a shock-jock type radio show, and it just so happens that it was put on YouTube. It was quickly removed in a CYOA type move, but as oh so many have learned, once it's online, it never really goes away. You can watch the video over at SB Nation NHL, if you so choose. Warning: the language will absolutely get you fired if you are wanting to watch at work.

Our response will be simple, and two fold. First, it really is too bad when someone proves themselves to be nothing more than a stereotype. Janssen shows, in living color, that he is a complete meathead jock who can't control himself around the boys.

Second, we'll just air this, and remind you all that you don't have to be meatheads.

As YotesGirl said on Twitter:

Cam is obviously intimidated by "If You Can Play, You Can Play" because, you know, he can't f**king play.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Congrats, Cam. You made yourself more ignorant off the ice then you ever could have on it. If nothing else, it should be fun to watch him try to weasel his way out of this.
