I have decided to take it upon myself to try and learn more about the advanced statistics used for hockey. Even though it is going to be tough I think it is time for someone from here to truly understand how these stats are created and their effectiveness. But I need your help. I do not know where to look for the formulas for the calculations of these statistics. I therefor am asking the community to post in the comments section good sites that I can use to try and independently see these advanced statistics that the bean counters like to throw at the Wild. A good defense against their attacks is to understand how they get there numbers and hit them with numbers as well. That is my goal, to defend the honor of the Minnesota Wild fan base community and the State of Hockey from the stat heads.
