Now that NHL hockey will actually be played again at the X (huzzah!), other than having Gary Bettman expunged from hockey, the one thing I want back is a new goal song for the Minnesota Wild. As everyone should know, the Wild currently play "Crowd Chant" by Joe Satriani, which is essentially one of the ten songs that get played at every arena in the world. I'm sick of it. I want something new. I want something unique. If this is really a new era of Minnesota Wild hockey, one that actually scores goals now, we need good music to go with our many goal celebrations. My personal pick is Arcade Fire - "Ready to Start." It's fresh, it's energetic, and it's nowhere near as annoying as "Chelsea Dagger." Anybody have more ideas? Perhaps we can make a fan movement out of this. Game On!!!
