The moment we've all been waiting for is finally here.
Tonight, the Wild finally begin this regular, full 82-game season in their humble home of the X against the Los Angeles Kings.
Today's number was simple for me to pick out, as this game is obviously the first of the year for them.
The number one is also signifying the first year on the Wild (or the NHL in the case of our new prospects) for some of our players.
As of right now, this includes Nino Niederreiter, Matt Cooke, and Justin Fontaine.
You all know the anticipated lineup for tonight's game as I posted it in my other post here 2 days ago.
As I just said above (I might have said it in my Tuesday post too), this is an anticipated roster. Things could very well change before the start of tonight's game. If there are to be any changes, I'm expecting them to be very slight. All in all, it's pretty safe to say that Yeo's roster that was announced a few days ago is all set in stone.
Tonight should be a pretty good battle between these 2 teams. This should make for an interesting game to be at or watch on TV.
Who's going out to the game tonight?
If you aren't lucky enough to make it out to tonight's game, where will you be watching it from?
No matter how you're able to see tonight's game, I hope you all enjoy it!
Before I let you all go, I have only one thing left to say:
Let's! Play! Hockey!
