The Minnesota Wild are off to California to thaw out and play a couple games of ice hockey. Up next for your Wild is a game against the Anaheim (Mighty) Ducks on Wednesday followed by a trip up the coast for a Thursday game against the San Jose Sharks whom the Wild just beat at the X 3 - 1 on just 13 shots on goal.
Rumor has it, Hockey Wilderness will be represented on the road this go around, with Emilie following the team to bring you some road coverage. How convenient a time to go to California while the rest of us spend our time bundled up just waiting for it to get a little warmer out so we can start hitting those outdoor ice rinks. I still haven't seen the lights on my local ice rink at night. I'm guessing it's just too cold to get out there at the moment.
