Good morning Wilderness! Another day on an East Coast trip and your Minnesota Wild find themselves in New York and the newly remodeled Madison Square Garden tonight to play the New York Rangers. Now I know New York is a really big, scary city out East for us common Midwest cornfield types, but there is nothing to be scared of Wilderness. The Rangers have struggled about as much at home as the Wild do on the road. An interesting mix going which could only mean we will see mistake free hockey and a playoff like atmosphere.
They lost to the Islanders folks, at home, and that's just not something you want to do. This means they will have a very bitter taste in their mouths and will want to take out their revenge on a team that has struggled on the road. I would expect if the Wild can weather the 1st period storm the Rangers will be pushing we can get out of there with a win tonight.
Of course this is all dependent on whether or not the Wild can solve Henrik Lundqvist and his beautiful hair. So after the Vikings inevitably let you down stop on over here for the Game-Day Thread to get some aggression out against the Rangers. Matt Cooke is bound to get only the warmest of Welcomes tonight in New York, I'm sure the fans have gotten over this incident a long, long time ago.
