Good morning Wilderness! Hopefully this is finding you in a warm place as temperatures across the upper mid-west are dropping faster than Evander Kane's gloves trying to pick a fight with Jason Pominville. The Wild have continued to leave a sour taste in mouths of the fans as they simply cannot find a way to solve their road woes this season. The great thing for us fans is tonight's tilt will be in the friendly confines of the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.
Former fan favorite Cal Clutterbuck will make his return to the arena he once called home tonight as the New York Islanders are in town to see what they are missing in giving up Nino Niederreiter for our precious buttercup. I'm sure the fans at the X will welcome Clutterbuck and his mustache warmly but when the puck drops and he starts throwing his body around I wouldn't be surprised to hear a few boo's around the X.
I know it's cold out there, so you're going to have to layer up for today's walk, maybe bring a thermos of a warm beverage as well.
