Wilderness Walk 3-4-2013: Act like you've been here before Edition

USA TODAY Sports

Minnesota Wild dominant in 4-2 win over the Edmonton Oilers. Wild close within 2 points of divisional leader Vancouver Canucks.

Good morning Wilderness, and what a beautiful morning it truly is! Last night your Minnesota Wild squad put some work in against the lowly Edmonton Oilers. It is definitely an exciting victory for the good guys, and any win we are not giving up an extra point in this short season is a good thing. But act like you've been here before Wilderness...

Because you have, many many many times before. The Wild in their last 20 home meetings against the Oilers are 19-1-0, and Backstrom turns into a nuclear blast shield against these guys now sporting a 17-0 record against the Oilers at the X which I believe gives Backs a Corsi of infinity. So yes, Wilderness, you have indeed been here before.

Taylor Hall (sissy) had a convenient little hammy which kept him out of the contest, and of course, Clutterbuck is still sidelined due to a dirty hit 11 days ago.

Celebrate good times Wilderness, but we got a big one Tuesday against a team I hear is pretty good.
