The Eastern Conference Finals are all set as the West has yet to be figured out. The Chicago Blackhawks have forced their series to a 6th game and the San Jose Sharks fight for their playoff lives tonight.

Good morning Wilderness, how are we all doing on this fine Sunday? It's okay, don't be shy! You can still feel free to comment below the links, it is still allowed even though the Wild are no longer playing hockey. At any rate, the Eastern Conference Finals are set and ready to go as the Boston Bruins finished off the New York Rangers yesterday, taking the series in 5 games. The Pittsburgh Penguins, also winning their series in 5 games over Ottawa Senators on Friday, will host the Bruins for game 1 at some point as they await the West to iron things out for their finals.

The Chicago Blackhawks extended their series and will head back to Detroit for game 6 on Monday. Chicago beat the Red Wings yesterday 4-1 in Chicago that saw Jonathan Toews score his first goal of the playoffs. Tonight in San Jose the Sharks will play host to the Los Angeles Kings as they try to stave off elimination in their own game 6. The Kings lead this series 3-2 and will be looking to book a ticket to their 2nd consecutive Western Conference Finals. Tonight's game starts at 7pm CT, which is nice for us here in fly over country. Wish they would start some of these West Coast games this early when I do actually have to work early on the following day.

The Minnesota United FC won Saturday 3-2 against the Tampa Bay Rowdies. Minnesota rode to victory over the defending champs on goals from Cristiano Dias in the 10th minute, Geison Moura in the 23rd minute and the eventual game winner coming just 3 minutes later from Simone Bracalello with Pablo Campos assisting on the 2nd and 3rd goals.

Did Zach Parise's Departure Ruin New Jersey Devils Season?
My absolute favorite idiot over at Rant Sports, by a mile. Complete with jab at ZP's salary, he actually calls his offensive contributions "pedestrian" and then proceeds to tell you why the Devils failed citing everything Parise does well.
