I was starting to write about how this game would never end, and that I just wanted to go to bed.
And then Andrew Shaw scored. So thanks for ending the game, and no thanks for ruining a perfectly good gimmick!
So, Chicago won Game 1. The series isn't over by any means, as this was a highly contested game, and the Hawks won on home ice- hardly a death blow for the Bruins.
Game 2 is in 2 days, but it's hard to believe they'll top a 3 OT game.

Tending the Fields
2013 NHL Entry Draft Speculation for the Minnesota Wild: Defenseman- I prefer the third guy, as he's more of a two-way guy, but adding some mean into the system for defensemen isn't a bad idea, especially with Suter, Spurgeon, and Brodin to move the puck.
Could The Sabres' Pick of Taro Tsujimoto Happen Today? | The Hockey Writers- I think this did happen. Eero Elo, anyone? But seriously, a GM pulling this would be fired for doing so. There are enough 7th rounders that can be had for at least organizational depth that not taking them seriously would strike many, including me, as unacceptably arrogant and foolish.
