Good day to you Wilderness! Here we are, another week starts fresh and we find ourselves hitting the trail. Hockey news threw out its last few gasps of news this week with the release of the schedule, the NHL signing on for the 2014 Olympics, and the names of the conferences being released.
Now I can understand the NHL going with regional names, and whatever 'Metropolitan' is supposed to mean. It helps some know where to look on a map. A good part of me however was hoping the NHL would be "different" and use Adams, Patrick, Smythe and Norris for divisional names, but that just wasn't meant to be. Oh well, at least twitter was good for a few chuckles with the release of the Metropolitan Division name.
In today's news we have a new Head Coach for Iowa, NBC loves rivals and Boston "Beiber-Proofing" their locker room. Enjoy!
