In honor of 43 days til the regular season begins, we give you Warren Peters. He looks pretty happy eh? - Hannah Foslien

We're getting closer Wilderness...

Good morning Wilderness, and welcome to another edition of the Wilderness Walk. Bringing you all the best links to help get you through the day. Here we are folks, yet another day closer to the start of the 2013-14 NHL season. Can you just feel it in the air? Can you hear the sounds of skates carving out freshly resurfaced ice? The sound of a Ryan Suter slap shot from the point? The crunch of a Mike Rupp hit against the boards? If you close your eyes real tight, I bet you can even hear 'Lets Play Hockey!'

It's coming Wilderness, and the season will be upon us before you know it. As we are want to do to get to where we need to go, we walk.

NHL sour on second Toronto franchise? | Puck Daddy
