Wild sign Brady Brassart to ELC

Derek Leung

Today is the first day that NHL teams can sign young players to entry-level contract starting next season. The Wild didn't waste any time.

The Wild signed forward Brady Brassart to a 3-year ELC. He's playing with the Calgary Hitmen (WHL) and has 33 goals, 42 assists and 75 points in 62 games so far this season. Brassart has 90 PIM as well. He attended to the Tampa Bay Lightning camp on a tryout basis this season, but that didn't work out.

Brassart scored at least one point in every game in February. He has currently a 14-game point streak scoring 13 goals, 16 assists and 29 points during this period. He’s had a three point night in a 5-1 win over Kamloops last night.

You can follow Brady Brassart on Twitter.
