The Minnesota Wild players enjoyed a well deserved day off after splitting a home and home series against the Detroit Red Wings over the weekend. For GM Chuck Fletcher however, days off are hard to come by. As you have undoubtedly heard, the Wild inked their 2013 2nd round selection, Gustav Olofsson to an entry level deal that will likely see him calling Iowa his home at the start of next season.
Olofsson had an excellent season on a sub-par team for Colorado College and shined at the WJC for Sweden. If you're not overly familiar with this kid, Emilie has you covered here.
The Wild will be back at practice today as they prepare for the Vancouver Canucks who come to town tomorrow. The Canucks received a bit of bad news yesterday, just as they are welcoming back Ryan Kesler and Daniel Sedin they will be losing the Henrik Sedin to a leg injury.
The Wild have just 10 games left and are perched in the 7 spot in the West, holding on to the top wild card spot by 5 points over the Phoenix Coyotes. Here is how the playoff picture looks right now.

REMINDER: It's a Game and These are People | The LeafsNation
It's one thing to get all up in arms over Brodziak not being able to hit a wide open net. It's entirely another thing when you start in on a guys family. In the end, this is just a kids game, and I get that we all have so much emotion invested in this game. This however does not give you free reign to lay into a players family. It is about as classless and low as you can get, just don't people.
