Wild @ Blues "Just a bit outside" Recap

"You talkin' to me?" - Scott Rovak-USA TODAY Sports

The Wild drop a heartbreaker in St. Louis

The Wild lose 5 to 1 in St. Louis against the Blues, and it wasn't even that close.  This was the opposite of what the Wild needed tonight.  With the Phoenix Coyotes winning in a shootout against the Devils the Wild now sit with just 1 point separating them from the 8th seed in the playoffs and dangerously on the cusp of missing them altogether.

I don't have much positive to say about tonight's contest, so I'll leave you with some wonderful poetry written by you kind folks.

I think this pretty much sums up the Wild fan-base's feelings about one Dany Heatley.

Or, do you prefer a Haiku?

Ger chimes in with a very personal piece.

For more you'll have to check out the game-day thread.  Dasher had another gem but I could not in good conscious post it here (what about the children!?) .

In the post-game Yeo dodged some questions about Dany Heatley and why he is still in the lineup.  So no sign he's going anywhere.

That about sums it up folks.  Not a very fun one to watch, and we have a hungry Coyotes team coming up next.
