Thank You Bryz

In all likelihood, Ilya Bryzgalov played his last game of this year's playoffs and played his way out of any chance of being signed beyond this year, making his upcoming time on the bench the last time he will wear the 30 for the Wild.

Bryz was a desperation signing in a season of goaltending whoas for the Wild this season. Despite this, the playoffs were still within reach. Appearing in only 12 games, Bryzgalov delivered. He went 7-1-3, earning 17 points in those 12 appearence, with big wins over Phoenix, the LA Kings, St Louis, Boston, and Detroit.

It's unfortunate that the Bryzgalov storybook most likely has a sour ending, with fans only remembering his 2 playoff losses at Colorado.

But lets remember what he did do. He played well enough to get us into the playoffs. And we're still playing.

Hopefully Kuemps, who looked good in the 3rd period of last nights game, will continue to be sharp at home, earn 2 wins at home, tie the series, and the Wild return to Colorado with a new confidence of turning the series in their favor.
