Now that we got out of the way, onto business.
Last night the Minnesota Wild took a giant step towards locking up their 2nd consecutive playoffs. Coming off a big win over a disinterested Penguins squad on Saturday and a 1 - 0 grinder over the Winnipeg Jets last night the Wild are just 1 point away from clinching extra games this year. Ilya Bryzgalov has been a rock between the pipes when the Wild needed it most, and the few big rebounds he did give up his defense was quick to clear every puck out of danger.
Bryzgalov will carry his 2 consecutive shutouts into tonight's likely start at home against the big knockers in the East, the Boston Bruins. The Bruins have locked up their position as top-dog in the East for the 2nd season and may be keen on letting a few of their guys with minor bumps and bruises heal up an extra day here and there. Jerome Iginla may sit tonight, which If he does I'm sure will have Wild fans breathing a sigh of relief.
The Wild have 3 games left in the regular season and are sitting 7 and 8 points ahead of the Dallas Stars and Phoenix Coyotes respectively. A Wild win, overtime loss, or Coyotes regulation loss against the Columbus Blue Jackets today, whom are fighting for their own playoff lives, would seal it up for the Wild. Dallas and Phoenix are setting up to butt-heads on the final day of the regular season in a play-in game for the playoffs.

4 games is pretty fair. I mean when it routine to not get a hearing in the first place, 4 games is really pretty good.
