That's what the organization needs to know Wild fans. There's a ton of collegiate and minor league stats on Curry that anyone could look up. I won't bore you with those, but the bottom line is that he has appeared in four NHL games. Yes, four. All with the Pittsburg Penguins, holding a 2-2 record with 11 goals against.
Hardly a track record to follow. Based on this, I doubt that even the Wild themselves know who they've got here. With the goalie situation this year, I'm sure they were hoping they wouldn't have to find out any time soon. But the time has come. They need to find out in games 81 and 82 while they have that luxury based on what they've earned in the past 10 days or so.
Unless Darcy Kuemper is ready to go for the playoffs, they need to find out quick. In order to make a deep playoff run, Bryzgolov can't do it himself, he's going to need some help. If it's got to be with Curry, then it has to be. I've said it before via Twitter, I'm a huge Bob Mason fan. I trust Bob was a part of the decision making in getting Curry here, and I trust that Bob is working extensively with him in practice. It's time to put that practice to use. He'd be facing great competition in St. Louis and Nashville, and it would give us a good look at what we've got.
