Welcoming New Talent

Bruce Bennett

You've all read his material on the SI/Fansided blog, Gone Puck Wild. Hockey Wilderness is pleased to introduce Dakota Case as a new member of the writing staff.

Dakota is a Media Management/Journalism double major at the University of Sioux Falls. He has an Associate's Degree in Business Administration and is currently working as a Production Assistant at the local NBC Television News affiliate.

Dakota's writing history includes covering the Sioux Falls Stampede of the United States Hockey League for the USF newspaper, The Vessel, covering the Minnesota Wild and general USHL hockey as a Staff Writer for The Hockey Writers and covering the Wild as Editor and Chief Writer for SI.com/FanSided's Gone Puck Wild.

Dakota also hosts a two hour long hockey talk radio segment on KCFS 94.5 FM from 10-12 on Thursday mornings throughout southeastern South Dakota, southwestern Minnesota and northwestern Iowa. Guests have included USHL players, OHL players, current NCAA players and even NHL players. The show can be streamed live online here.
In addition to Hockey Wilderness, Dakota is still on staff at GPW as a Staff Writer and is the newest Fantasy Hockey Staff Writer for RotoRob.com.

Welcome to the team Dakota!
