Hello Wilderness! As I write this, I'm still glowing from having attended Minnesota United FC's first home game of the spring season. The Loons are now 2-0, after dominating the Carolina Railhawks (in terms of possession) though the score ended up being 1-0. There were stretches of 5-6 minutes where the only player on Minnesota's half of the field was Mitch Hildebrandt, the goal keeper. There was even a fight, with two players being red-carded, and one being yellow-carded.
But, enough with football, let's move to stickpuck (get it?). There is SOME news today, though it's not all-encompassing. TO THE WALK.
side note: for some reason, the entire Star Tribune website is down for me right now (I blame Wisconsin). I'll check again later, but I likely won't be awake prior to this posting.
