Minnesota Wild post-season rehab

A quick look at the Minnesota Wild post-season rebuilding process

Tyler Cuma to miss remainder of season

" Ottawa 67's star defenceman Tyler Cuma will undergo knee surgery in Minnesota today and could be lost for the rest of the season. Cuma, who injured his knee at the world junior selection camp in December, attempted a comeback a week ago against the Brampton Battalion, but re-injured his knee. He went to Minnesota to be examined by doctors for the Minnesota Wild, which drafted Cuma in the first round last summer. Doctors determined Cuma needs arthoscopic surgery to repair the meniscus. He's expected to remain in Minnesota for rehab for up to a month and the Wild is recommending he shut it down for the rest of the season. " One bright spot anywhere in the minors.. and he's out with knee problems. Oh, joy.

Cuma to be examined by Wild doctors

He tried to come back from a knee injury Friday night against the Brampton Battalion in a 5-2 loss, but apparently aggravated the injury and missed Saturday's 3-2 OT win against the Oshawa Generals and yesterday's sloppy loss. Now Cuma will travel to Minnesota this week to have the knee looked at by doctors for the Wild, which made Cuma a first-round pick (23rd overall) last summer "
