Wilderness Walk for 1-28-2013: Moving out of the Port-O-John Edition

Moving out of the shit house. - Aaron Holm

Your Monday morning, I'm not ready to start the work week yet procrastination crutch.

First things first Wilderness, I need all of you to close your eyes, take a deep breath, and exhale. In with the good, out with the bad. In good, out bad. Repeat as necessary.

The Wild went into a tough house last night, against a tough team and escaped with 1 point. This is the first point the St. Louis Blues have given up at home this short season. Hell, the 4 goals the Wild scored were the first 4 they have even surrendered at the Scottrade Center this season. The sheer fact this went into overtime is a credit to this team and not a detriment. The Blues have a +11 goal differential which is tied for tops in the league right now. Be thankful for that point, the loss may be disappointing, but that 1 point puts us tops in the division which puts us 3rd in the West. Granted, 5 teams sit tied with 5 points which means things can change just like that. It also should show you just how valuable that 1 point really is. Get the point?

Its a new day and a new week Wilderness, keep your chin up and your stick on the ice (Red Green anyone?). Do not dwell on the past, shake it off and move forward.
