Colorado Avalanche 2-1 (so) Minnesota Wild

Two games, two losses, two points. Gotta love the NHL.
When a team outshoots another 41-17 and they go to a shootout, that's a combination of horrible offense and exceptional goaltending.
Tonight was no exception. The Wild were terrible offensively, and Backstrom was lights-out. This was a horrible showing by the Wild forwards, and proved that they are a mediocre team. Hopefully Gaborik can come back soon, and spark this team to get them into the playoffs.
Hockey Wilderness Three Stars
- Niklas Backstrom (41 shots, 40 saves)
- John-Michael Liles (1 G)
- Marc-Ande Bergeron (1 G)
Questions to Answer
- Does Owen Nolan keep on his hot streak? Unfortunately not.
- Can the Wild get this road trip off to a good start tonight? Well, maybe for Backstrom.
- Has Colorado packed it in, and can the Wild take advantage of it? Unfortunately not. Tonight it looked like the Wild packed it in.
- Will we see the Wild from the first half of the San Jose game or the second half? First half.
- Will Bouchard get his game back on a roll? No.
