The Wild have played two of the worst games in recent memory while on this road trip. Coming into tonight, they have mustered little offense, forgotten how to play defense, and are counting on their goalies to keep them alive. That's all well and good when you win, but with two straight losses, the Wild need to find a way to win.
To win, the Wild are going to need to create some Dan Ellis problems of their own, or maybe they should all just hold up dollar bills when they shoot to distract him. With Brent Burns gone on suspension, and Marek Zidlicky hobbled and likely shouldn't be playing, the Wild will need to find some offense. The Lightning will bring their fair share of scoring chances, with the league leader in points in Steven Stamkos.
If the Wild don't shore up the d-zone, this Tampa squad is going to make this ugly real quick. The only question to be answered is can they man up tonight, or will it just be roll over time?
