Brutal. That's the word that popped into my head when Boyle scored his game winning goal. You see, the problem is that Boyle plays for the Sharks, and the Avalanche won the game. Put it together. Brutal.

Random Wild Video of the Day:

HA! Blah blah blah blah blah MIKKO KOIVU blah blah blah KOIVU!

Game Re-Caps from SBN:

Game 3 recap: Crosby, Malkin power Pens past Sens 4-2 - PensBurgh - The defending champs now lead their series 2-1.

Senators have no answer for Penguins' big guns, lose 4-2 - Silver Seven - What team does, really?

Martin Brodeur Can't Do It By Himself; New Jersey Devils Lose 3-2 in OT to Philadelphia Flyers - In Lou We Trust
 - Brodeur is still an amazing goaltender. Turns out the Devils aren't as good as him.

ECQF Game 3: Hockey Gods shine on thee; Flyers earn OT victory, 2-1 series lead over Devils - Broad Street Hockey
 - An understandably different take.

Defense falters as Coyotes win 4-2 - Winging It In Motown - The defense didn't just falter. Howard looked soft, and the offense wasn't really there either.

Coyotes Regain Home Ice With 4-2 Victory Over Red Wings - Five For Howling  - The story continues to write itself. All you have to do is watch this team. They want it, and that is a very big deal in the playoffs.

Sharks lose a heart breaker in overtime as Avalanche take 2-1 series lead - Fear The Fin - I don't know how these guys are writing about this game. I would be a bit too upset.

ANDERSON IS KING. 51 save shutout leads Avs to 1-0 victory in OT. - Mile High Hockey  - 1-0 OT win off of an opponent's stick. I would be less than proud, but Anderson did play out of his mind.

KiPA's Korner:

Hitting The Post: The Playoffs, Day 5: Home ice restored but for bad Jersey and Boyle's blunder - Boyle's blunder. Personally, it sounds to me like the Sharks just being the Sharks.
