It is a dark day here in Minnesota. You see, our dear friends, the Vancouver Canucks, have been eliminated from the playoffs. Oh, OK... who am I kidding? The Nucks are out, and no one here could be happier. To my friends in Vancouver, I am truly sorry you have joined the loser ranks with our dearly departed Wild, but on the other hand, I am ecstatic to see Alex Burrows go home fro the summer.

This line in the song probably made more sense before the team of 18,000 began forgetting as many of these names as possible due to the pain level. Hint for next season? Cut that rate down to about 10%. Screw the rhyme.
