Wilderness Walk for 5-14-2010

Well now, let's see here. A daily posting of hockey related links and news. Hmmm... well, there was that big game last night between, um, that team. You know the one, they wear skates? Yeah that one. And they played against that other team that also, um, wear skates.

Let's face it. There was no hockey last night. Sure, the Worlds are going on, but no one really cared anyway, and the US team is terrible, so even fewer people care. Although, Russia added Sergei Gonchar and Evegeni Malkin to their roster, so there's that. Apparently winning the Worlds is a way to save themselves the embarrassment of the Olympics. Good luck with that.

So, without further ado, your Walk for the day.

Random Wild Video of the Day:

There is no real video to this video, but it does play the song, so maybe listen to it while you enjoy a walk around your living room or workplace.

Off the Trail:

In other news, there is a giant fire ball in the sky above the Twin Cities. I can't get a picture of it, but other people have sent this in:

Some referred to it as "The Sun," but here in the Twin Cities, we know that "The Sun" is only a myth told to children.

Enjoy the day folks. Hockey tonight.
