Wilderness Walk for 5-15-2010

How about those Flyers, huh? Interesting that a rag-tag bunch of decapitation machines could make such an amazing run, isn't it? Especially given the fact that the goaltending they have is about the same level as the Minnesota Golden Gophers. Wonders never cease to amaze me.

Good news out of Tennessee today. The Jack Daniel's distillery was not effected in any way by the recent flooding there. Life. Is. Good.

Random Wild Video of the Day:

Watched a couple videos today before settling on this one. Mostly because it features Todd Fedoruk dancing.

Playoff Team Game ReCaps:

Bruins blow 3 goal lead in Game 7, fall 4-3 to Flyers - Stanley Cup of Chowder - I think they could have ended the title of this post after the second word, but that's just me.

GREATEST COMEBACK IN THE HISTORY OF SPORTS. FLYERS WIN 4-3! - Broad Street Hockey - Indeed. Maybe not the greatest, but certainly impressive.

KiPA's Korner:

Hitting The Post: History will be made ... and was - What if the Flyers were likable?

Wild News:

Minnesota Wild: Who Will They Draft With The Ninth Overall Pick? | Bleacher Report - "What does Dion Phanuef, Alexander Smid, Sheldon Souray and Logan Couture have in common? All these players were selected ninth overall in their Entry Draft year..." Oh, and James Sheppard.

Off-Season Game Plan: Minnesota Wild - Pretty straight forward look at what the Wild need to do, but I disagree that they have "tons of cap room."
