Wilderness Walk for 11-18-2011

What? Who? Me?
What? Who? Me?

I trust everyone got a good night's sleep after that game last night. (Insert rim shot here.)

It's an important day for you ladies in Movember. Do what you will. Just consider this a heads up. For everyone else, remember that Movember is about more than raising money. Of course, you can still donate to the Hockey Wilderness team, and it is certainly not to late to join the team, either. Movember is about raising awareness of men's health. To that end, a reminder that a man dies from prostate cancer every 15.6 minutes.

So many numbers associated with Movember have that shock effect to them. Stats will do that. The only number that matters? One. There is only one of you, and you only need to go in for one annual check up. It's really as simple as that.

Links and news after the jump.

Wild News

Wild shuts out Avalanche to extend division lead to 5 points | - Post game Rants.

Lundin getting closer to Wild debut, heading on rehab stint | - Good news, and bad news. The good news is he is getting healthy and can start contributing. The bad news is, he is an unknown at this point, and every unknown is nerve wracking.

Schultz plays 700th career game | - This won't get nearly enough attention. Congrats, Nick. Here's to at least 300 more.

Setoguchi's goal ends the standoff | - Russo's gamer.

Bounce goes Setoguchi's way, and Wild win again - - Always amazes me that when things go well it is a "lucky bounce."

Banged-up Wild continue to win - What do good teams do? Find ways to win.

Off the Trail

Faces: Q&A with Joe Bennett, owner of Bennett's Chop & Railhouse in St. Paul - - Great read about a big Hockey Wilderness supporter.
