Wilderness Walk for 10-1-2012: Two Weeks and Counting

The opening home opener is now in danger of being canceled. Things are about to get real.

As of today, there are technically twelve days until the Minnesota Wild are scheduled to take the ice for their home opener. The league has been canceling games that are scheduled just under the two weeks out mark. For those of you keeping score at home, that means that, barring a miracle that isn't going to happen, the season opener is about to be shredded. Good times continue to build up.

Since this doesn't look like it is going to end, and there are barely enough links to entertain a four year old, let's ask this... What are you all doing rather than watching hockey? What's on the docket out there in the Wilderness?
