This is for all the marbles. Well, OK... only a few of the marbles, but it's still a pretty big deal. Well, OK, it's only a pretty big deal to WCHA hockey fans, since both of these teams are already in the NCAA tournament, but hey, at least it's hockey, right?
The DU Pioneers have made it this far on the backs of two overtime wins, and a handful of goals from Wild prospect Jason Zucker. They are most certainly the comeback kids, so even if the Sioux go up early, don't count on it being an easy win.
As for the Sioux... well... they're here, too. There are a few Sioux fans around HW, and I'm sure there will be just a few drunken fake Irish North Dakotans at the game this evening. The businesses around St. Paul have to be happy the Sioux made it, since the Gophers didn't. BUsiness should be good around Downtown tonight.
We here at Hockey Wilderness have no horse left in the race, but it sure would be nice to see Jason Zucker do well.
Enjoy the game, all.
