Community NHL Mock Draft 2012: Buffalo Sabres

The Sabres are another team that did not live up to the lofty expectations placed on them this season. The good folks in Buffalo certainly deserve better than what the Sabres gave them, and Wild fans know exactly how that feels. Ryan Miller has to be considered in any conversation of top goaltenders, and Jason Pominville, Derek Roy, and Drew Stafford make up a strong core.

Their defensive corps is lacking, if only a bit. So is that where they look in the draft? We all know that drafting a D-man isn't going to add instant help, but it would help eventually. Maybe. And by then, will they need a young stud forward? Maybe an heir apparent for Miller?

Up to you. Go.
