Hockey Wilderness Playoffs Open Thread: Round Two, Day Googleplex

New, comments

The playoffs sure are long, aren't they? I mean, not so long for teams like the Canucks, but still. This is painful. Time seems to slow to a crawl, each day taking a thousand years to pass. Of course, that could just be because we have to watch other fans be happy, which makes us miserable.

Yeah, we're rude like that.

In better news, if the game goes to double overtime, NBC is going to move the game to NBCSN so that you can watch some animals run around a circle while rich women in ugly hats and rich guys in ugly suits get drunk off of terrible drinks. The "sports" world never ceases to amaze.

Oh, and thanks NBC for buying the rights to the World Championships, preventing the IIHF from broadcasting it here, and then, you know, not showing any of it. That's really appreciated.

Enjoy the game. I guess.
