We continue to narrow the field as we approach the end of our mock draft, we reach the St. Louis Blues. A team seemingly perpetually stuck in neutral, the arrival of Ken Hitchcock propelled them to one of the best records in hockey, and the team finally reached some of their potential. It seems like the Blues have forever been the team that had so much talent, yet couldn't do anything with it.
No longer.
The Blues are a good team, and can certainly compete with the Red Wings and Blackhawks in the Central. The same Central that also holds the Predators, and the same Central that Wild fans want to be a part of. Good for travel, not as good for winning. The rivalries would be a great deal of fun though, wouldn't they?
Time to pick for our friends in St. Louis.
