This situation comes up every year. The Wilderness is forced to choose a draft pick for the Vancouver Canucks. But guess what, the team may be vile, but their fans are good people. So swallow the bile, and do the right thing here.
There is still a great deal of talent on the board, and the Canucks farm system could use some help. The Hockey News ranked them in the bottom third of the league for prospects. While the NHL squad is certainly better than the Wild, the prospect ranks do not look promising for the mighty Nucks. You know why? Because they win all the damn time.
Time to choose for the Canuckleheads. Be nice.
