Welcome to the party, Desert Dogs. We're almost through the entire community mock draft as we stop for a visit in the NHL's most volatile city. Will they stay? Will they move? Will they have new owners? Will the NHL ever figure out how to offload this team?
Of course, none of the questions surrounding the team have led to anything but success on the ice. Fans are in the building, the team is playing well, and the fans and players both deserve some resolution. Personally, I hope that resolution finds the Yotes remaining in the desert and playing well long into the future.
Right now, however, we need to worry about who the Yotes will draft to add to the stable of prospects they have absolutely stolen from the Calgary Flames.
