Just over a week ago, the community got together and discussed the Buffalo Sabres. We learned that the Sabres seem to have a number of defensemen in the system. With this being a strong defensive draft, it was difficult to pass up on Cody Ceci, as evidenced by the selection of Ceci for the Sabres. Now, we find oursleves back here, again, selecting for the Sabres, again, this time with the pick they received from Nashville.
With the number of sure fire first rounders dwindling, it might be necessary to make a reach here. If someone is there the Sabres don't think will make it to them with their second round pick, would they make such a reach? Maybe, for the right player. Who is that right player?
Time to tell us.
