NHL Free Agency 2012: Zach Parise Announces he is Headed to Minnesota

You know, in order to talk to family and make a decision.

Yes, the drama will play out a little longer, as Zach Parise called a press conference to announce that he was headed back to his home in Minnesota to talk to family and will not put a time table on his decision. For now, that means everyone can stand down. At least until his plane lands at MSP, anyway.

Now, this does not mean he is coming here to be close to the X for a presser. No, this does not mean Ryan Suter needs to get on board and sign somewhere. It really doesn't mean anything at all, except that Parise is tired of sitting at his agent's office with nothing to do but stare at Twitter and wonder why NHL Network is showing the Caps vs Bruins from April.

But seriously... why in the hell is the NHL Network showing the Caps and Bruins from April? Ridiculous.
