Tracking flights, stalking guys in airports, signing high school friends, beat writers "fighting" with anonymous Twitter douchebags, more bodily fluid discussion, Brian Lawton on Twitter that Suter will sign here, the excitement never ends.

Here we are on Day 4 of #parisewatch which has clearly melded with #suterwatch into one giant stomach cramp inducing anxiety-ridden waiting game.

So we know that Craig Leipold's private plane picked up Ryan Suter's (and Jake Dowell's) agent Neil Sheehy in International Falls, picked up Leipold & Chuck Fletcher then went to meet with Ryan Suter at or around his cabin in the Madison area (where he also met with the Red Wings) and somewhere along the way came to an agreement on Jake Dowell. Dowell & Suter are close. Zach Parise said in an interview that he'd love the chance to play with Suter. I am cautiously optimistic.

One might say that things are looking up, and a decision may come today.

Either way, it's ridiculously hot today. Drink lots and enjoy your Independence Day. If you have a boat, invite me out. I'll bring beer.
