Good morning Wilderness, and a fabulous crisp Autumn morning it is. Your Minnesota Wild are in Buffalo tonight to take on the one-trick pony know as the Sabres. Right now the Sabres are a team without direction, but do not count these guys out. The Wild are coming off a few very impressive games at home and could very well get caught in the trap being set tonight at the First Niagara Center.
The threat soon-to-be Wild forward Thomas Vanek presents is ever-present, and the stone-wall of Ryan Miller between the pipes has the ability to steal any game in front of him. The Wild would be wise to bring the same kind of intensity they have shown increasingly over the first five games.
Welcome back to Eastern Conference games Wilderness, this is something I sorely missed last season. We get 4 of these East Coast games on this particular trip, which starts hopefully with a win tonight.
