Wilderness Walk 11-10-2013: Moar Shootout Wins Edition!

A very lazy Sunday in the State of Hockey is here. No hockey, no football, some team that chucks an orange ball around might be playing but does that really count?

James Guillory-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning Wilderness, and welcome to your lazy Sunday edition of the Wilderness Walk. Your Minnesota Wild won a messy one in North Carolina last night against the Hurricanes. Regulation was not enough time to settle this, nor was the 5 minute joke that overtime is in the NHL. Your Wild actually won in the shootout, going 3 for 3 on their attempts.

I was sort of in and out of it yesterday while dealing with a dead car battery and dinner but from what I saw it was a little too loose. So anyway, it's Sunday, the Wild don't play again until Wednesday and we got nothing else worth paying attention to in the world of sports here today. Anybody got any big plans?
