Noon Number (November 14th): 76.7%

New, comments

Time for your Monday dose of numbers. I'm filling-in for Dan today. He'll be back tomorrow in my usual spot.

Before we get started, Dan wanted me to tell you guys to check out this video of the Granlund hit, in which you can see Dan in his extremely good seats beside the glass (skip to 0.40 and look out for the guy in the white jersey, front row, to the right of Kadri).

For today's Noon Number, I'm just gonna post some of the numbers from last night's game so you can see just how dominant the Wild are over the Leafs in terms of even-strength puck possession.

There isn't really a whole pile to say. These numbers show just how much the Wild controlled the play and back-up the eye-test. That game could've been a blow-out. Personally, I love that this new Wild roster can do this to other teams. It's fun to watch them tilt the ice, even if they have been running into hot goalies and bad puck luck a lot.

Long may it continue.
