Hello, Wilderness!

Today is a great day indeed, as your Wild came out victorious against the Habs yesterday with a final score of 4-3.

Their eastern conference battle continues tomorrow when the Wild play against Parise's former team, the Devils.

Until then, let's bask in this win and take a walk, shall we?

Wild News

Jason Pominville, Mikael Granlund keep chemistry going in Wild win - - They are such a great duo. Granlund knows how to set up the shots, and then Pominville gets in there and scores. He was really close to getting a hat trick at the end of that game. Even though he didn't get it, he won the game for us. Seriously though, it would have been awesome to see him get a hat trick.

Pominville scores twice, including game-winner in 3rd, to lead Wild over Canadiens 4-3 - The Hockey News - Again, he was so close to getting a hat trick.

Josh Harding should be starting instead of Niklas Backstrom for the Minnesota Wild - FanSided - I agree with this 110%! Harding has been stellar so far this season. He really knows how to pounce all over that puck!

Wild Sporting Movember Staches To Break The Ice « CBS Minnesota - Happy Movember, everyone!

Tending the Fields

Iowa Wild Powers Past Texas 4-2 - - Way to go, baby Wild!

Off the Trail

Justin Abdelkader helps Red Wings edge Flames - - I have him on my fantasy team, so all I have to say now is thanks Abdelkader!

Paul Stastny gives Avalanche OT win over Stars - - Paul Stastny's second goal of the game 3:36 into overtime gave the Colorado Avalanche and troubled goalie Semyon Varlamov a 3-2 victory over the Dallas Stars on Friday night.

Ward nets three, Capitals win fight-filled game over Flyers - - What a crazy game that was. If you haven't watched highlights from that game yet, I highly recommend that you do so.

Bishop blanks Hurricanes 3-0 in Lightning win | - Well would you look at that, another shutout win. Not as many goals scored in this one (clearly) as that Flyers-Caps game, but still a shutout nevertheless.
