In case you missed yesterday's Noon Number because you were busy celebrating Thanksgiving, you should read it now.
Today, I'm looking at "iCorsi", which refers to the number of shot attempts (goals, shots, missed shots, blocked shots) each player generates while they are on the ice.
-Here are the "iCorsi/60" rankings for Wild players who have played at least 50 minutes this season:

- No surprise to see Parise, Koivu and Pominville in the top-5.
- Jason Zucker is the surprise leader at this point. If he keeps generating shot attempts at that rate, he should score a pretty reasonable amount of goals this year.
- Marco Scandella, who starts in the defensive zone more regularly than any other defencman in the league, is somehow generating more shot attempts per 60 minutes of TOI than forwards Brodziak, Coyle, Cooke, Fontaine, Mitchell, Heatley and Granlund.
- Mikael Granlund needs to shoot the puck more. His main skill is his playmaking, but we've seen this year that he has a pretty good shot too when he uses it.
