Good Morning Wilderness! I hope you enjoyed the extra sunlight today on your way into work. Your Minnesota Wild came out of the gate pretty slow last night, and things didn't look like they would end well for the boys wearing iron-range red. Justice prevailed though as Josh Harding and the Minnesota Wild shut out the New Jersey Devils. Doesn't seem like it is much of a daunting task these days, as that was the Devils second-consecutive scoreless game.

The Wild have now won five of their last six games and seem to have found that scoring touch lately. Even struggling forward Dany Heatley managed to get a goal last night on a nice deflection in the slot. Of course, I would be remiss if I did not recognize TC Mooch, the prognosticator of prognosticators for not only calling the heater goal last night, but also the role reversal in Jason Pominville getting the assist on a Mikael Granlund goal for a change. Well played sir!

The Wild play next on Tuesday night as we welcome the Calgary Flames into town, sounds like they may be greeted here with some pretty shoddy weather as well. Hooray! Winter is here!
