Wilderness Walk: 11-6-2013: Curb-Stomp Edition

The Wild continued to fill the net en route to their third consecutive win.

Hannah Foslien

So, since I last left you on Friday morning, the Wild have scored 13 goals and won all three of the games they've played.

Maybe I should stay away.

Anyway, the Wild hung five goals on Calgary last night, which is pretty good. Calgary is a team that the Wild should beat, and when you can beat the teams you're supposed to beat, you're in good shape. The Wild have done just that since Friday.

The Wild won't be able to have much time to rest, nor ability to rest on their laurels, as they've got a date tomorrow with Alexander Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals at the Verizon Center. You may know them as the team that has scored the most goals in the Eastern Conference (Not the NHL leader- that honor goes to the Phoenix Coyotes. Um, what?). A worthy opponent for sure.

Also some good news, Mikko Koivu scored 3 points, so the Wild can trade him now, as his value will never be higher.

Snow is falling, my laundry is tumbling right now, and there's a lot to read, so I'm gonna go to the Walk.
