Good morning Wilderness. Welcome to what has become a rare day off in the game schedule. I feel like a lost puppy here, no game last night to discuss, nothing coming up this evening. What is one to do with themselves? So I've been reading through some articles, collecting my thoughts. Should I really be shocked that a New Jersey publication has the Devils ranked much higher than the Wild? Naaaa! Being a fan of Minnesota sports I've grown very accustomed to not getting any credit around here. Its also worth mentioning the Charlie Coyle has gotten the call up from Houston to make his debut in the seemingly likely event Cullen can't go Monday. We'll know more about this as the day goes on I'm sure.
Speaking of not getting any credit around here, I would be remiss if I did not mention a very big day for one of our local guys. The folks over at Daily Norseman have to be just tickled pink that their boy Adrian Peterson was voted the AP Most Valuable Player, as well as Offensive Player of the Year. Huge congratulations out to the guy, who if you've been living under a rock the last year or so, are well aware of just what he came back from and how close he was to breaking a very big record. If you have in fact been living under a rock, fortunate for you, you have found the internet and are here, which means you will probably find a link somewhere pointing you in the right direction.
