U.S. Women's Hockey Team Set For Sochi

The finalized roster of 21 players for Team USA was announced Wednesday afternoon during the Winter Classic.

Team USA's finalized roster was announced Wednesday during the Winter Classic in Ann Arbor, Mich.

Against a stunning snowy backdrop, in front of a crowd of 105,491, all 21 players -- 11 forwards, seven defensemen, and three goalies --  smiled and flashed their "Go USA!" gloves, along with head coach Katey Stone and general manager Reagan Carey.

The Winter Olympic Games begin in Sochi, Russia on Feb. 7 and end on Feb. 23. The Americans begin their quest for a gold medal Feb. 8 against Finland at Shayba Arena. The full competition schedule is here.
