Wilderness Walk: A Point at the Tank Edition

The Minnesota Wild took the San Jose Sharks to overtime last night, but could not earn the extra point.

Bob Stanton-USA TODAY Sports

For the Minnesota Wild, last nights loss against the San Jose Sharks sang like a familiar tune, with one additional caveat. The Wild were about as terrible in the faceoff circle as I have ever seen. Winning just 30% will not do the job when you have to go up against a power house squad like the Sharks, and on their ice no less.

The Wild get a couple days to learn the art of faceoffs before they stroll into the house that Gordon Bombay built to take on the Anaheim (Mighty) Ducks on Tuesday. I don't have much else to say about last nights game that I didn't already cover in the recap. So without further ado, on to them links!
