Wilderness Walk: #StickTap2Hope Edition

New, comments

Your Minnesota Wild continued their run towards relevancy in the talks of who is a true cup contender in the '14-'15 season with a strong win over the division rival Dallas Stars last night. But that is not important right now...

Marilyn Indahl-USA TODAY Sports

What is important is #StickTap2Hope. Last night at the Minnesota Wild game Jack Jablonski kicked off his stick tap 2 hope campaign. His effort is to the benefit of folks spinal cord injuries in an effort to help those affected with spinal cord injuries to not only live with their injuries, but recover from them as well.

Over the last year Dr. Susan Hakema has been pushing her effort to help those affected with these injuries regain much of what they have lost.  It is truly amazing work that not only shows you how far these sorts of technologies have come over the years, but gives many people hope, and provide them the help to recover from the injuries they have suffered.

For more information on this, got to Jabs Bel13ve foundation. You can also text T-A-P to 41444 to donate to research in helping people afflicted with spinal cord injuries.

It was a night of firsts for the Minnesota Wild. Matt Dumba, Mikael Granlund and Thomas Vanek all scored their first goals of the season. Vanek decided to kill 2 birds with one stone, and scored his on the PP, so that monkey is finally off our back as well.
